Challenge 52 at Pear Tree Designs-Stamp Something!

Ooops thought Id already updated my blog with this week's card for Pear Tree Designs...just clicked on to see that the post I had scheduled didn't work...doh!

Anyway, this week's challenge is Stamp Something! This week's sponsor is Michelle's Scrapbooking and More, who is offering a gift voucher to use in her store.
For this card, I decided to use a new stamp that hadn't been inked up, this cute turtle is a Marianne's one. I coloured him in with Promarkers and cut him out with Nesties. The paper is from a Wild Rose Studio pack, and I embossed a panel with my Cuttlebug, adding a lacy trim with my MS punch. I added some Stickles to the image for some sparkle, some Card Candy and a Craftwork Cards sentiment. As it was for my niece's birthday, I added a 6 peel-off to the bottom.

Back from my hols and Challenge 54 at Pear Tree Designs!

HI everyone, I'm back from my hols in Cyprus, what a fab time we had!!! Missing the sunshine and my grandparents a lot...and it's taken me a while to get my cardmaking mojo back, I'm getting there though lol.

This week's challenge at Pear Tree Designs is a sketch, a nice easy one for you! Our sponsor this week is Cardmadfairys Creations, who is offering the winner 5 digis of their choice. The DT had some lovely images to play with this week, so I chose this yummy looking cupcake.
I coloured the image in with my promarkers, and added some Stickles for sparkle, and some Glossy Accents for a nice sheen to the heart. I used some papers from Dovecrafts Sugar & Spice pad, matting with brown cardstock. I added a lacy trim with a MS punch, and mounted the image with label nesties. I embellished the card with some gems from my stash, a cute bow, and a greeting from Craftwork Cards.

Challenge 51 at Pear Tree Designs- Sparkle!

Here is my card for this week's challenge over at Pear Tree Designs....the theme this week is Sparkle! The DT were given some lovely images to play with by Meljen's Designs.

I chose this little cutie called Cuddle Cloud Baby, which I coloured in with my Promarkers and added tons of Stickles for sparkle. I needed a baby girl card to pop in my card box, so I went very pink on this card. The papers are from a freebie pack that came with a mag, and they have been matted onto pink cardstock. I embellished the card with some ribbon, buttons and gems from my stash. A Lili of the Valley stamped sentiment finishes off the card.

I really hope this post appears as planned on here, I'm scheduling it as we're off on our hols...sunny Cyprus here we come!!! See you all soon :)

Challenge 50 at Pear Tree Designs- Sketch

This week's challenge at Pear Tree Designs is a nice easy sketch for you to follow, and this week's sponsor is Cardmadfairy's Card Creations who is giving away 6 new images to the lucky winner!

The DT each had a lovely digi to play with....this little bee was mine! I coloured him in with promarkers and decoupaged him up, adding Stickles to his wings for extra sparkle. The papers are from a Dovecraft pad and have been matted with green card. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the lacy effect and added gems from my stash. The sentiment is a combination of a freebie on a mgaine and a Wild Rose one. To finish the card, I added a button tied with some satin thread.

I would like to enter this card into another couple of challenges:
One Stitch at a Time: Bling it On (gems & glitter glue)
Paperplay: Sparkle Galore (gems & glitter glue)

This week's challenge over at Pear Tree Designs is to use your stamps....we want to see your cards with stamped images, but no digis please! Our sponsor this week is One Stop Card Crafts who are offering a goody bag for this week's winner.

I decided to use my new Tatty Teddy stamp for my card this week, I thought it would be perfect for my friend's birthday tomorrow. I coloured him in with Promarkers and added some extra sparkle with some Stickles. The papers are from Dovecrafts Back to Basics pad, and I used a pretty scalloped card blank for a change. I added some roses, lace, and pearls from my stash and the sentiment is a Lili of the Valley one.

I would like to enter this card into some other challenges too:
Saturday Challenge: I used their lovely sketch
My Time to Craft: Scallops (the scalloped card base & die cut)
