Another Tilda card

The idea for this card popped into my head last night just before I fell asleep....so after doing my housework I sat down to play!!

The starting point was the gorgeous papers from Dovecraft's Piece of Cake pad, and the colours fit this week's challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge which is pink & brown. I coloured in Tilda to match, I love this image, so cute! I added some faux stitching to the paper and Tilda's oval and a lacy edge using my doily punch. The sentiment was from Wild Rose Studio's cute greetings set and I finished the card with gems & flowers from my stash.

This card also fits these challenges: Papertake Weekly whose theme this week is In Stitches, and Pollycraft's Monday Challenge which is Pinkalicious this week....I hope my card meets both of these!

A card to fit a few challenges!

I was checking out this week's challenge at Pear Tree Designs which is Summer and it got me thinking of what I could use...then I remembered I had this cute digi saved on my computer! It was a freebie from somewhere but I really don't know where it was from!

Anyhoo, I coloured him in with promarkers and added some Stickles for sparkle. I used some papers from Wild Rose Studio's Milton & Co pad, and used peach card for matting & layering. I used some ribbon from my stash to wrap round the panel and the sentiment is a stamp from Wild Rose Studio's Cute Greetings.

This card also fits the challenges at Just Cute Bears with an open theme, Ooh La La Creations with a Simply Summer theme, and Die Cut Dreams with a Beach theme.

Thanks for looking,

The other ordered card.

I also made this one today which fits this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers....they want to see your favourite thing....mine is definitely shopping, as Anya shows lol.

I used an Anya image which I coloured in with my promarkers as usual, and used more of Wild Rose Studio's Polka Dot pack...I love these papers! I added some bling with gems, and used my doily punch with some ribbon from my stash. I used my nesties for the sentiment, which again I felt worked better on an easel card...I like the extra card space lol.

2 cards for an order

I got back from my hols on Friday and all I could think about was getting these 2 cards made, I knew I was running out of time for them. These cards were ordered by family for my niece's birthday on Tuesday.

The first one was made using papers from Wild Rose Studio's Polka Dot pack, and I used a CC designs image I had...love this image, so cute! I followed this week's sketch at Papertake Weekly which was lovely to follow. I added interest with lacy edges using my doily punch, and added papers flowers & a glittered & gemmed butterfly, and gems to the flowers. Kiki also has stickles on her cupcake and skirt for extar sparkle. I had to do an easel to fit on the sentiment!

This card also fits some other challenges: Magical Crafts Fortnightly challenge who wanted flowers and Bunny Zoe's new blog who wanted girly and Anya Ink who wanted bling!!

Last 2 cards before we go off on our hols!!

Remove formatting from selection
We're off on holiday tomorrow but I had some cards to get done today...so I've got less to do when we get back lol.

I can't show one of them as it's for someone special who reads my blog from time to time, so I'll show you the one I made for my friend's daughter. I had these really cute digi stamps from Digi Stamp Boutique which I thought would be perfect for her....Sammi is coloured in with my Promarkers as always. I teamed it with paper from Daisy & Dandelion Picnic Patch pad, and used my new MS punch to make the lacy border, which I inked to match the clours of the papers. I added a glittery butterfly with gems for the body and added some flowers too.

I'm entering it into 2 challenges.....Charisma Cardz who want bling this week and Totally Gorjuss who want Sugar & Spice...I'm taking this to mean girly???

I'll see you all next weekend, have a good week x

My Birthday Stash!!

It was my birthday today and I was very spoilt by my family!! I got lots of new stash to play with and also had a lovely lunch out with my mum & daughters....bliss :)

My mum made my day with some more Promarkers, I've already had a play lol. I've now got more colours that blend together, so I'm really happy!

My MIL spoilt me too with some card/paper, a butterfly punch, some scissors, and a knife set. She also put some money in my card which I had to spend at my local craft shop. I got myself some Nesties, Labels & Ovals, a Martha Stewart punch that I've wanted for yonks, and some ink pads.

And my lovely daughters added to my stash pile with some oval sentiments and some card candy from Craftwork Cards....so I am one hapy bunny tonight!!

I also got some new shoes from my mum, and money for some new clothes & choccies from my darling hubbby :)

Fathers Day Card for my Dad

I made this card today for my Dad, I must get it posted now! I followed this week's sketch at One Stop Craft Challenge...I hope I've done it justice!! I couldn't put the sentiment exactly where it should be cos of Jim's size lol.

I used another Jim image from Digi Stamp Boutique which I coloured in with my Promarkers. I used some more papers from K & Co's Hopscotch pad, and used dark blue card for matting. I inked all the papers with dark blue ink and added some Card Candy to the image.

This card also fits this week's challenges at these blogs: C.R.A.F.T Challenge, Pear Tree Designs, Cupcake Crafts Challenge, Totally Gorjuss, Magical Crafts, and Crafty Cardmakers.....all of whom wanted cards for the boys/Fathers Day, so I hope my card meets the requirements!

Twilight Card for an order

My friend asked me to make a Twilight themed card for her daughter who loves the saga and has a real thing for Edward Cullen.....I'm with her on that one, he's gorgeous lol.

I used my fave Edward pic as the starting point, and used some Dovecraft rose papers, which I coloured in with red promarker (thanks to Jackie for that idea), and I used red and black pearlescent card for matting & layering. I embellished the card with red flowers, ribbon & gems from my stash. I put the "Team Edward" on which I cut with my nesties, and used them for the sentiment too.

I hope she likes it, my friend's picking it up next week. It was a fun card to make and I must admit I did drool quite a bit over the piccy hehe :)

Father's Day card for my Father in Law

Gosh I was enjoying my crafty day today so I thought I'd get my Father's Day cards started....it's not that long to go!!

I bought this digi stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique with my FIL in mind, he's a whizz at DIY and spent last weekend putting up a fence for us, so very apt lol. I coloured "Jim" in with promarkers and cut him out with my nesties. I followed a sketch from this week's Friday Sketchers blog which I really enjoyed. I used K & Co Hopscotch papers, inked around the edges with blue ink, and embellished with brads and a simple sentiment.

This also fits the theme this week at One stitch at A Time, which is Boys to Men.

A Tilda card which fits quite a few challenges!

I've had a lovely day crafting...all the housework was done yesterday!

I had been checking out my list of challenge blogs and came up with this card which fits quite a few challenges!!

The theme at Passion for Promarkers was Pink Birthday,as was the challenge at the Creative Cottage, so that was my starting point. I used a sheet from Wild Rose Studio's Polka Dot pad, punched a daisy border from white cards & wrapped it with ribbon. Then I had to add some gems, couldn't resist! I coloured Tilda in with Promarkers and added some sparkle with Stickles glitter glue. I also added a flower and some gems in the corners.

I followed the sketch at Pear Tree Designs which was a lot of fun, and I used ribbon & bling to suit Pollycrafts Monday challenge for this week, and it fits Cupcake Craft's theme this week of Dazzle us....sparkle is added with Stickles glitter & gems on this card.

My entry for Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge

I had my youngest daughter home today (teacher training!!) so when she said she wanted to craft, I thought I'd join her lol....

I had a quick flick through my list of challenge blogs and found a sketch from Secret Crafter to follow for this week's challenge!

I had this cute fairy image all coloured in and sprayed up with Spray & Sparkle...and I teamed it up with some Forever Friends Pink Parfait paper (one of my fave pads). I used ribbon from my stash and 2 bows for the side embellishments. A stamped sentiment made the 3rd embellishment...hope that is ok lol. A flower completes the sketch!

I am also entering this card into a new blog I've come across....Rosie D's challenge blog, they wanted "Fairytale", so I'm hoping my fairy fits the bill :)

Thank you card for Teacher

I've had a lovely crafty afternoon today....I was a good girl though and did my housework first!!

I was flicking through challenge blogs this morning and found the Just Cute Bears Challenge blog and thought I'd play along with this week's challenge! I love teddies in all shapes and forms, so I really enjoyed it!!

I used some papers from the Daisy & Dandelion Picnic Patch pad, and coloured a gorgeous Lili of the Valley bear with my promarkers. I layered the bear onto some Co-ordinations card and embellished the card with a flower, pearls & a Thank You sentiment. It will be perfect for one of the teachers next month.....2 more to go lol.

I hope you like it, thanks for looking :)
